I'm Lydia, I'm fourteen and I love music, particularly George Michael, god of music and songwriting, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, U2, and R.E.M. I like most types of music, except hiphop and rap (there are some exceptions to this, one being Eminem). I also don't like the shallow cheese that seems to have injected itself into the music industry. I like politics. I refuse to ever be apathetic, I have a view on everything and will never take a back seat or be peaceful. I think a lot more than people sometimes realise.

I love rain. When it rains at night it is so beautiful. I like the night generally. I sit up at my window and watch it. The ocean is beautiful at night too. From my window at my mums I can see Poole Quay, at night it looks fantastic, all lit up. The view is not amazing, it is too far away, but you can make it out.

I have a bunch of amazing friends. I tell bits of things to them, and they are all so different, what we talk about is so different too.

I like people who are a little different, and who aren't afraid to show it. People who you have to look beneath the surface to understand.

There has never been anyone like me, and there never will be. Whether I like it or not, I am a one-off. Nobody thinks the way i do.

Things I hate

Milk, reality TV, most TV except music, science and history channels (I am a geek), right wingers (Conservatives for the apathetic among us), Michael Howard, Liberal Democrats, The Veritas Party, Robert Kilroy-Silk, people who try to be cool, people who put others down when they have no reason to, closed minded people, ignorant people, too much swearing (I know I do it too much), ignorant people, homophobic people, racist people, sexist people, a lot of modern music (particularly that 'My neck, my back' song by Khia), people who insult people when they dont know them, people who dont wash their hair, bananas, fish with the head left on, most vegetables except potatoes, people who think they are upper-class (there is someone's name I could mention here but won't), people who say 'innit' when it has no relavance to the conversation, people who think casual sex/sex acts/kissing is OK (that really does grate on my nerves), the colour red, guns, people who have their heads stuck up their ass, hypocrisy, drugs, people who take drugs because it is 'cool', child abusers, paedophiles, people who ask for cybersex, chav scum, glowsticks, peaches and the colour purple.
